Anyone wear a Simpson Bandit FF helmet? If not, any other recommendations?

Go try on different Arai models as well, depending on what shape your head is (viewed from above) one of those might work best. Look at the intermediate ovals - Corsair V/RX-Q & Vector 2, the long oval shaped Profile and the new extreme long oval Signet-Q and possibly (if they have any left) the round oval Quantum 2. Lots to choose from, I wouldn't wear any other brand.

I rode with a Bandit for about 4 years and found it worked fine. Never really had any complaints or problems. Like most I bought it based on the looks and the name. When I decided to replace the Bandit I went with an Arai. Man what a difference. The Bandit can't come close to the fit, finish and plush comfort feel of the Arai. I also own a Shoei and find it on par with the Arai. Many find the shield system on Arai helmets to be a PITA (myself included) so I'd recommend you take the shield on and off a few times before you buy one. My Shoei X-11 is a little noisy compared to some other full face helmets but it's super comfortable and has the best ventilation of any helmet I've ever worn.

I had a Shoei GRV back in the day - bout it because it had a Kenny Roberts paint job but never wore it much because the shape of it didn't suit my head very well. Otherwise a pretty nice lid though, on par quality wise with Arai - I just think they have a bucket to fit any $600 head whereas other brands not so much. LOL

Whatever you get, make sure it's SNELL approved.
I didn't like the ergonomics and fitment of Arai and I know the shield system is easier with Shoei. Shoei has some great helmets as well and well vented. Try both and see what you like, concentrate to see if there are any pressure points. The Shoei to try is the new X-12 and RF-1100. Sometimes you can find a previous model on sale, new like an RF-1000.
I ride often with the shield up and sunglasses on anyway. Aerodynamics make a big difference with helmets.
BTW, I know a few guys who have the Bilt brand exclusively from Cycle Gear. Only $99! How much is your head worth?
Also, there is a market for used, high quality helmets. I sold 3 Shoei's on Ebay for over $100 each...

Harley FXRG. Carbon Fiber, it's the lightest FF helmet I've ever worn. It has 7 vents and when riding you can feel the air flow through it. Removable liner for washing. Reflective material on front, side, and back. DOT and Snell approved.
