Default Sold my bike. Tougher than I thought

I sold my RoadGlide yesterday...
Took it deep hard and dry....
But current economics.... Family health issues... Seems.... I hope it was the right thing to do... I want to wait it out a few months... Get another bike.... This time I will join the cash only parade..
I may have jumped a lil too quick selling the bike... I don't want to jump to quick to buy a cheaper bike..
Wish me luck...

Been there done that. Now have a Night Train that I paid cash for, but really miss my touring bike!

You can always buy another one bro, good luck.

After a hiatus from riding, I am looking to return to riding. Renting a Softail Deluxe in a few weeks and we'll see what happens from there.

With all the bargains available, it seems crazy to even consider a new bike.

I've always heard that it's easier to sell a bike than it is to get one.

Unfortunately, for many of us when there is a financial crunch, the toys are the first thing to go.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune..

Hope things work out for you.

What source did you finally sell it on? Paper, Craigslist, e-bay? Just wondering as I am not having any luck trying to loose an 07 Softail in Lakeland.

I hear you. Just sold my boat. After 30 years of boating but will have 2 kids in College next year and was approached by a guy who was willing to pay full price. When you gotta you gotta. But I doubt I will sell the bike. I thought I would sell the bike and keep the boat but you never know.

Just take your time getting what you want on the next one. Plus, paying cash for toys is the only way to go IMO.

I actually went to Orlando harley... To trade down... Get a lower payment.
I like O H-D...
They offered me great trade in value.. Even though my payment would have gone down... The actual amount owed would have been more... And back to 6 years..
So they offered to pay it off and take it...
So I did it...
Signed the papers... Got a ride home...
