Priorities always get in the way! It's a great man that understand that and does the right thing! I sold my bike when my daughter was born. My wonderful mother told me I was crazy to "gamble" safety on a bike while raising my child. Another child later, career and moves around the world.....I finally bought that Harley! it was 22 years between bikes. I never stopped dreaming, never stopped imagining....I'd admire Harley's whenever they came by.....I'd walk into an HD dealership just to dream a little more......always wanted one......one day Im surfing on Craigslist and I find a beautiful bike...the gentleman selling it is in financial trouble...he's lost his job and he needs to take care of things (his priorities). I got a hell of a deal, almost felt guilty paying what I did for it, but the deal helped both of us. I never gave up on my dream......it took 22 long years...and now I wonder how I ever did without it. Hang in there, something tells me it wont take 22 years for you. You are doing the best you can and the right thing......the stars will line up again and you'll be waving to the rest of us very soon.

Good luck! Paying with case, if you can afford to, is always a good way to go.

Sorry to hear you had to sell your bike. I'm hoping your situation soon improves. Good luck.

Look...I read your story...if you can pull the rabbit out of the hat in a few months you are better off than I was/am. In 1996 I bought an FLSTF with factory special order paint. I swore they would bury me on that bike. The economic **** hit the fan for me shortly after I bought the thing. I struggled to make my payments. Paid it off...I tried like hell to hang on. However...discretion being the better part of valor...I had to sell it. I actually owned it for less than 12 months. I was without scoot from 2001 until 2008. Obviously things have changed tremendously for me. In Feb 2008 I bought a 2007 FLHP. Paid CASH. I own it. No note. No crap. No bullshit. That sumbitch is going nowhere. Save your money. Pay cash. I am still in my house. That is far more important.
I miss the FLSTF so much I am working on a cat who has a 97 for sale at $8900. He is smoking dope. NADA book is $6750. Can I afford to do it? Maybe. But it will have to be a CASH deal. Time will tell. In your case... you will have to give to get...patience my friend. Patience. A clear title in hand is the end game.
