So they offered to pay it off and take it...
So I did it...
Signed the papers... Got a ride home...
Thanks for the info. I would probably go for a deal like that just to get out from under this Softail. My Road King is paid for and it sucks making payments on a bike that just sits in the garage all the time. Did you go to the one downtown in Orlando or the one in Kissimee?

I just talked to a guy who sold his bike a while back. But, now he had cold-cash in his hand and was buying a brand new HD right off the showroom floor. You'll score another one in the right time. Blessings to you & your family too.

Sorry to hear of your situation, I think you did the right thing. I hope all is well with your parents.

With me being out of work, and almost out of money, I was looking at selling my bike, but luckily I landed a job yesterday, gonna struggle until I get my first check, BUT it looks like I might get to keep mine for now. I had said in the past that I would live on the streets before selling my bike, but when faced with the fact the kids would have to go without eating for me to keep it, the choice would be simple, the bike would have to go.

Unfortunately, for many of us when there is a financial crunch, the toys are the first thing to go.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune..

Hope things work out for you.
I have already established that "one particular toy" wont be going anywhere under any circumstances. I would be more flexible with other (dare I say it) non necessities. (I could not have just said that...)

Hoping things work out for the best.

Man, I hear ya. I went without for 30 years. Finally got to the point that it was now or never and traded my truck in on it. I'll get a beater for winter, but I finally have my Harley.

What did you get? The Deuce in your avatar?

But current economics.... Family health issues... Seems.... I hope it was the right thing to do... I want to wait it out a few months... Get another bike.... This time I will join the cash only parade..
I may have jumped a lil too quick selling the bike... I don't want to jump to quick to buy a cheaper bike..
Wish me luck...
Get yourself an Ipad 2 and download all 3 versions of Angry Birds and you'll be just fine!!! Just don't get drunk and go out and buy a Vespa. You'll hate yourself in the morning....
