Yea they are plenty loud, my wife rides a sporty that is pretty loud and these things really sound great. I have been very impressed with them. Once i learned how to use them and got them set up for us. Now we also both wear ffh too.

Range is good on the G4's for us. Not the advertised 1.5 miles but a really good 1/2 mile in suburban or rural roads which is plenty for us. Putting up the antennas on the units help also.

Best system so far; now if they would only make a connection to the Harley system so I can also use the CB it would be perfect.

Is there not a bluetooth cb made yet? Shocking! My box says 1 mile on range.

Up to 1 mile actually, which would be in the perfect scenario.

As far as I know no one has a blue tooth CB or a blue tooth connection to the HD CB system. We get about 1/2 mile under good conditions. Not sure it would go 1 mile but some might. Make sure you connect them to a computer to get the latest updates.

Good thread. Decided on my last long ride I was gonna try these for bike-to-bike communication. Will keep watching this thread, but unless I see some bad reviews, I'm going for it. Who has the best price on these?

The bike to bike part has worked great for the year we have had them. But I have not been able to get both of our Ipod Touch's to work. I am connecting them via Bluetooth, I can hear the music and so can my wife, but once we start talking it cuts out , and never connects again. I have tried pressing the A button, but still will not work. Going to try again this week on our trip down the West coast.

Overall have had good luck with them.
