Default How does a dealer locate a CVO

Money down on 2012 Road Glide CVO custom cobalt blue. How hard or long does it take a dealer to get one....How much time should I give the Dealer before moving on to the next dealer? One month is what I gave this dealer. Comments??

You may have to wait until the MOCO paints that color.

Good point. They might be waiting for Japan to send the pigment over.

Either you phone around.

Or the dealer gets on the factory website for dealers and he locates one in two minutes and then works the phone to see if he can arrange to do a bike swap with one of his bikes to get the one you from the other dealer.

Also dealers no what's coming in and when. They play games because the thought of you waiting will make you settle for what they have in house. The longer a bike sits on the floor the more it costs them.

Your dealer should be able to provide an estimate on time to delivery, after the order has been allocated a production date. They seem to paint certain colors at different times. I remember having to take a Colbalt blue and gold one or having to wait 3 months more for a black one.

My local dealer tells me that RG CVO color choice won't be getting to dealers until November.
