Buckhorn Handlebars

If you go to my profile and albums, my old Low Rider had buckhorns. If you look at the hdfoums logo above, that's a perfect profile of them.

Check out these Flanders: http://www.sideroadcycles.com/Americ.../Buckhorn.html
I rode the C7 bars for years. Pretty comfortable, but not great for performance due to the angle your hands are at.

Yep...see profile pic. Not too many running buckhorns these days, that is one of the reasons I like them.

Bill @ BR Custom bars can make you a pair to fit you.
Give him a call. He's a cool guy to talk with.

with wide shoulders, I don't think you'll find buckhorns comfortable. they angle you hands in such a way that it forces your elbows in...it's hard to describe. My softail came with a pair and my wrists just couldn't take it.

If your looking at the buckhorn style I'm betting your after the same configuration I am , here's the spec's that' the most comfortable and ridable I've ever found . You may not want the height if you get them turned out more .
Rise = 8-1/2"
Center width = 10"
pullback = 7"
overall width = 35"
These were a common popular bar for the older bikes . The pullback is what sucks with everything now most are 12" or more and that turns your elbows in too far .
