Buckhorn Handlebars

No problem, TwiZted Biker.
I've heard the older buckhorn were shaped differently than the later versions.
Though I was never huge, when I worked out years ago I had a tough time walking in finding clothes that fit right off the rack. My older? buckhorns never felt uncomfortable to me.

Yeah the weight lifting thing changes a lot in your life in small ways that can be a real pain . It's what put me on to the bars I described they where totally comfortable when I was in the full meathead stage and wearing sweats . Off the rack clothes weren't happening everything had to be tailored then , get a shirt that would fit the neck and shoulders looked like I had a mumu on .

My '93 Sportster had Buckhorns on it when I bought it. After a gas tank change that included adding a dash, the pullback risers hit the dash.
I switched to Dyna Wide Glide bars, (mini-apes) and will never go back to buckhorns. Better control and lots more comfortable imo.

Idealy would be 1 1/4, 12 inch rise, 34 inches wide, 10 at the base and less than 7 pullback. I have found these buuuut I want them pre drilled and that is what makes them so hard to find. Guess I might just have to get some dimpled and drill them myself

I have located a set of Buckhorns that came off older Dyna Low Rider. They have the height, pull back and are narrow, 26" tip to tip. I have a 2010 Dyna Super Glide with HD 4" curved risers. I would like to try the Buckhorns with my risers.
Doe anyone know if I will have problems with the length of the stock cables and wiring?

Drilling isn't hard , I use wide masking tape covering the area and kind mock up the controls so you get the hole exactly where you need it . I drill 2 3/8" holes close as possible together and die grind out the left over to a nice oval . On the lower I do 3 holes makes snaking everything out much easier and remember A dremal tool is your best friend on this job deburr carefully .
