Tuner said to have plenty of gas in the tank cause bikes don't get good mileage on the dyno. Got me thinking........... any idea how many miles would be recorded on a dyno tune?

 

depends on how many runs.. could be 10,, could be 50.
also they will road test it after the tune..

 

I wouldn't put my bike on a dyno. Goin' for the SEst,but gonna use one of the downloadable maps instead of a dyno.

 

Not that many miles. They probably already have a map as a baseline, then they refine it after that. If they do more than 10 pulls or so, something is wrong.

I've had a car dyno tuned as well. It causes no harm and allows you to dial in that extra hp and perfect throttle response.

 

If I remember right my tune was right at 20 miles,and 1/4 tank of gas.
