Don't blame anybody but...

I know they do but the majority of Harley t's are black so if you want light colors the selection is limited

Walk into any Harley dealership and tell me the most numerous tshirt color

Odds are it's black

I was skeptical of whether there was a significant difference in Blk/Wh t's as I was reading this thread...found this interesting unscientific experiment online.....
We were at a biker event today. It was in the upper 80's -lower 90's. I have a temp gun that we use to check the temp of our press. I got it from my brother who used it with our racing operation, to check track temps and other things.
Anyway, we had shirts on display, some were in the direct sun. The white shirt measured about 110 degrees and the black one next to it was about 140!!!

I checked different angles and spots on the shirts and the black one was consistantly 30 degrees hotter.

I always new black was hotter, but 30 degrees?

I know, I get it, Black = bad biker dude

yeah that's freaking great when it's a nice 75 degrees outside, but now it's downright HOT and I want those same T's that look great in black with some other lighter color options

they ain't gotta be white, but how about some light colors, tan, natural cotton, white, light green, light blue ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know at bike week and biketoberfest you have a selection, but it's limited still.

Some come on Dealerships, T-shirt vendors everyone - ENOUGH BLACK ALREADY!

ok, I am done, continue on, blah blah rant over blah......
somebody wants more colors of the rainbow?

Not a problem with it being 54. Was 80 just a fews back on the ride in. Just shows me that the weather is changing. I'll be out when it is 20 as long as there is no snow and ice. Might as well write off Dec and Jan and Feb with this Ohio weather.

Full sleeve, chest, and back tattoos, a good tan, and a bit of sunblock (if'n yer a *****)...and 100+ temps are glorious without a damn black T-shirt. Ink is yer best protection.

'Course, being a gentleman, I wear fingerless gloves...since hand tattoos are an abomination (a mutilation of the temple I call my body).

And only man homo's wear earings. The ladies can pierce anything...and it's good.
