Default Such A Showoff!

My Road King is everything I wanted and a bit more. I've added some "stuff" for function, some for design and some for vanity. BUT, I've got to say my favorite part of the bike isn't shiny or for that matter anything that can be seen. The part I love the most is when I get on the bike and just start it up! That moment of silence followed by the low rumble of American Horses! Almost all the time, heads around me turn to see who or what and I just sit there grinning on the inside. IT'S ME! I feel like such a showoff. I feel that I am one lucky SOB that I get to play like this.

My King does the same for me. It's just a bad *** ride.

I prefer to see the wheel to turn and do not care for more than that. BTW, my bike is quiet, light, a great streetable 113 ci TP, sucks gas which I do not like, only gets 125 mi per tank at almost any speed, cruises at 2,400 RPM's @ 64 mph and 3,000 RPM's 91 MPH. I do not like bugs much and when not wearing a full faced helmet: RAIN (which I just got stuck in for 40 miles yesterday coming back from the dentist. Your choice of needles or golf ***** depending on how hard the down-pore was.) It was much better than being at work, however.

Yeah, it's a great thing, firing it up. I always feel better when my engine is running. Feels great going on a joy ride, a trip to the store, coming home from work- hell, even feels good starting it up and heading TO work.
