Default Can you make any paint Denim?

Kind like how the denim would look over my current paint set. Can you wet sand the paint and shoot a denim clear over the sanded clear?

When I saw the first commercial HD had for the Denim paint, I thought it looks like a primered bike and they were going for the work in progress look.
They even had the bikes in front of a garage implying home built was my guess.

I sure didn't think it would catch on like it did.

Not a fan of a solid denim besides pewter but my set is pewter with light silver flames and everytime I wax it it looks like a denim job with flames and its growing on me but dont know if it can be sanded and denim cleared.

I'd think it's been done. Just need a painter to answer and advise.
Good luck. It would be a different look for sure.

I dunno--I think denim is ugly, and it's been done to death. I'm sick of looking at 'em.

I got some polish on my denim by accident (borrowed a rag and didn't know polish was on it), and now have a shiny spot on my tank. I don't know how wax could make it look like denim, unless you're referring dry wax prior to buffing.
