You have got some sick buddies...get new friends, helmet will clear up.

 

Mine did the same thing. I also thought something got on it. I ended up sanding and repainting mine. It is a cheapo that I leave on the bike all the time. Gets a lot of heat. I will just keep repainting when neccessary.

 

I can't tell you what it is but I feel pretty satisfied right now...
