My rear end hurts BAD! Plz help fast
I am kinda embarrassed to talk about this but it's getting to the point I can't ride. I was riding a wheelie on my dirt bike about 3 years ago and looped it landing on my ***. It hurt so bad I layed in the road and everyone wanted to call a ambulance but I told them no, just let me lay here a few minutes. My tail bone has never stopped hurting but only when I ride a motorcycle. Then 2 months ago, I hit a block of 4X4 wood on the interstate. The bike bucked the rear end knocking me off the seat. It hit me so hard I was dangling by the bars, and my body was near vertical(feet up). When I landed my *** hit the seat and feet hit the asphalt at 75mph. I barely saved it. I'm wondering if I broke my tailbone, twice?
If I ride 30 minutes it hurts for about a day in a half then stops hurting if I don't ride anymore. I rode about 170 miles Saturday, and yesterday I could barely walk.
I ride a tricked out Wide Glide that has been lowered. I have only had the bike since April this year and I'm on my 4th seat. I have done research about tailbone pain and all I find is it's caused by trauma,DUH, I know that.
I don't know what to do. My best friend wants to ride to Boston from Atlanta in October, but If I can't get this pain under control, there is no way I'm going to be able to make it.
Like I said, I have tried 4 different seats. If I spring for a $500.00 seat and I still hurt, I'm going to be pissed at myself. I have thought about a AirHawk seat pad or taking my current seat apart and putting a gel pad under the cover.
Please give me advise on my options. Until then, I'm not able to ride.

I'm with Schu............ see a doctor! A local upholstery business may be able to help you by reshaping the seat and maybe providing an open space around the tailbone. My son had an uncomfortable seat on a bike and a local shop worked with him to get it reshaped and padded to suit his backside.

I agree. You need an X-ray - MRI of your spine to see if there's any damage to the vertebrae and have a Dr. help you. I wouldn't ride until it's healed either.

While your waiting to see a doc which you have to do,......Get yourself a wheel barrow tire tube. blow it up just a little & put it under a sheep skin or something like that. Adjust the air pressure until you are very comfortable. This will allow you to sit in comfort on your bike or in your house!
It might be your tailbone, but it's part of your spine! Thats the silly thing behind you that holds all those lil nerves that allow you to have sex with your woman! Or walk........... or.........

Frank, good advice has been given. Take it, see a doctor.
Now for the obvious joke:
Basically you are saying that for the last 3 years you have been getting your *** pounded pretty hard, and it's starting to bother you?
(com'on, you know you all were thinking the same thing)
