Frank, good advice has been given. Take it, see a doctor.
Now for the obvious joke:
Basically you are saying that for the last 3 years you have been getting your *** pounded pretty hard, and it's starting to bother you?
(com'on, you know you all were thinking the same thing)

If you broke your cocxxy ( tailbone ) you're going to be in pain for the rest of your life. My mother slipped on the top stair going to our basement and rode all 11 steps down. Yep, she broke it, & it never let her forget it either.
Dude, see a really good doctor, that is your only hope.

Friend of mine at college broke his tailbone. It hurt like hell, but eventually healed.
it does require medical attention though. Take the money you would have spent on another seat and go see a doctor.

You must be single, cause if you were married you would have a loving sweetie who would have booked you into a Drs appointment years ago! Or kicked your sore a** to actually phone yourself.
I bruised my tailbone also. Hubby hit a very large bump, I flew up and landed back down on the back rest of my passenger seat. It took months to heal, couldn't sit on ANYTHING, so eventually bought a coccyx cushion. Use your head and save your butte, get a drs appointment to make sure you are only severely bruised and not fractured.

I left something out. I have Psoriatic Arthritis, 7 bad disc in my back and neck. Being I already have problems with my spine, I'm fairly certain this pain is something I will have to live with. I am going to ask my rheumatologist what she thinks, and I'm sure she will tell me to stay off the bike which is NOT going to happen.I'll eat pain killers and drink beer. I'm going to try the innertube and see if that helps in the mean time. I'm also going to put the stock shocks and springs back on my bike. I'm laughing right along with the clowns on here. I knew I would catch some sarcasm for this post. I hope something like this does not happen to any of you. It really sucks to not being able to do something you love. Thanks for all the support and good advise.
