Maybe your butt cheeks isn't puffie enought to keep you up off your tailbone, like mine are. I have the same pain as well. I went out and bought a Sundowner seat for my Sportster and that helped alot. Most stealers will let you try the seat before you buy. Oh don't pay any mind to the jokes on here, some people haven't grown out've their teen years yet.

Your riding position could be the problem as others have said. Forward controls and/or slouching back in the seat may be causing some of the issue. Foot position, handlebar set up, modifying the suspension could be part of the solution to ending your pain. Or just trade up!

my last scoot was a rigid. i was cruising down the road one day and hit a pot hole the size of a basketball. i was standing up on the forward controls and almost went over the handle bars. i got home and my tailbone area was hurting like hell. i couldnt ride for more than 5 min without it hurting. took some time off the bike and no difference. and being the stubborn as$ that i am i never went to the doc.

fast forward a year and a half, i traded off the rigid for a 06 RKC and have had no problems since.

now the advice i would give is like everyone else said, go see a doc for sure.

What everyone has told you , DOCTOR !! Leaving that untreated could cause mr happy to quit working for you down the road a bit and left untreated to long it could be permanent . And *** that lowered crap that's for around town down at the bar poser bikes that ride like a brick and can't corner .
