I have the same. I also have a plug from Walmart that coverts the cigarette lighter to a double USB outlet, so I can plug in my cell phone, with the USB cable, and my Ipod at the same time, or pull out the converter and use the cigarette lighter plug to power my Slime air compressor if I get a flat.

That looks simple enough. Does FXCWC have an SAE plug, or do I need to purchase a battery tender?

Ah, thanks. Since I'll be using mini- and micro-USB devices, I think something like this or this ould be even simpler and cheaper solution.

You're doing your homework. I used the other arrangement for GPS.

If you are just looking for power (USB) to charge the GPS or Android, www.zootfresh.com has a quick solution. No wiring. I have one on a Fatboy (no cig lighter) and I just use it when I need it. Otherwise it's in my pocket or bag. You could attach it under the seat and use it for a more permanent solution I'm sure. You would then run your ordinary phone cable up to the phone (or GPS).

+1. Powerlet sells them, so you don't have to make one yourself. You plug the cigarette lighter adapter into it and can charge in the tank pouch, or if you don't need it, run the wire into the saddlebag and charge it there.
