6'6" 250. Size 14

There are no more comfortable boots than Doc Martens for walking around or riding.

I think you make a very good point...

I like the Milwaukee troopers. The flex in the boots is great for walking.

I run around in Red Wings - light weight, comfort, safety toe, zipper side and comfortable enough that I can walk around at bike week or biketoberfest without kicking my planters fasciitis in (which was the most important reason I kept them around after the initial purchase)

i'm 5'11" and 280

I wear a 15, finding boots is a pain in the ***. Georgia boot makes some comfortable boots. For the bike I wear Harley Interstates, they get more comfortable with every ride!

I'm 6'5", 260 lbs, size 14 feet. Several years ago, I discovered Magnum boots at the local police supply store. I'm currently wearing the Interceptor 8.0. It's a police tactical boot, waterproof and very lightweight and it's really comfortable. A pair runs about $125. They are great riding boots and also solve the problem of keeping your feet dry when riding in the rain. Here's a link....
