Indy shop. Cheaper and I like knowing who's working on my bike.

Mostly in my shed/shop. Occasionally in my garage. I even will work under a shade tree every once in a while.

Routine maintainence, up to lifter replacement or building a wheel, I do myself in the garage. Tire changes, anything inside the primary or something major, like a motor rebuild, or replacing the belt, I usually have the dealer do it.

Sometimes I work on it on the side of the road (but not very often).

I wish I knew of a good indy that wasn't 40 miles away. That's the price you pay for living in the middle of nowhere.

My Garage. Can't beat the company, the music, or the booze, and if I want some ***, my wife is upstairs. Can you get that at a bike shop? Well, not around here you can't.

If it's not warranty work then I do it my garage/shop. Save a bunch of money and I enjoy getting to know my bike and working on it. Service manual is a must have item along with the proper tools.
