Leather Care
I just bought some HD Lynx Waterproof boots. They are way more comfortable than I thought they would be, and have Vibram soles, so I should have better traction than my old Engineer boots.
I wanted to make sure they are waterproof, so I dug up an old bottle of Snow Proof Boot and Shoe Oil, made by Fiebing.

I don't know if it made my boots more waterproof, but it went on nice and smooth, odorless. When it dried, you can't even tell it is on. I have used snow seal in the past, but it is kind of messy, with an odor. Does anyone have experiences with these products?
When I did a search on leather care, I didn't see much about Doc Bailey's Leather Black, and I just want to say it is fantastic. I took my used leather jacket and elk-skin chaps, which looked pretty worn, and wiped it down with Doc's and it made them look brand new, with very little elbow grease. I do it once a year, but it hardly needs it. If you have an old jacket you will be amazed how well it works.

How do you guys take care of your boots, jackets, chaps, seats, saddlebags etc..?
