Recommend a good torque wrench?

For the two craftsman torque wrenches I purchased, the plastic boxes are designed, so you can only put the wrench back in if the collar is screwed back down to near zero. I take this to be a Yes (my Dad said the same thing). Cheers, Kevin.

One other thing with snap-on. The head broke on mine the other day. 24 years old.
I called them and they are replaceing the haed for free. Any other damage will be fixed with a max charge of $60. So you may spend $275 up front but your coverd for a long time.

i have all 3 drive sizes from harbor freight. been using them for a good 3 or 4 years now, no problems at all. i think the most expensive one was $30, maaaaybe $40. for general wrenching, theyre perfectly fine.
