Never locked a helmet to a motorcycle.
Went to the Texas Lonestar Rally this past friday and saturday. Helmets on bikes all over the place. Never heard of anybody stealing anybodys helmets.
I don't usually wear a 500 plus helmet.

While at the Lonestar rally
Tried on a Zox Genesis modular helmet. For the price this was a quick release buckle, it had good padding. Got sunglass you can pull down.
Replacement clear face shield 20.00. I always git mine scratched up.

DOT rated. fit good.
I'm going to get one. 159.00

OL tried one on and liked them, and two friends tried them on and was impressed by them.

I either hang it on the right mirror or it goes in the trunk of my Tri Glide.

Hang it on the bike. I figure if they want it that bad they can have it. But they better not let me see it afterward. Payback can be messy.

I purchased a pacsafe helmet bag(http://www.pacsafe.com). Use it only if going to be away from the bike for a long period, otherwise carry it with me.
