They only thing that makes them different from other A-10 30mm shells is that I cut the top 1/3 of the round off and then polished it. I also removed the primer tube inside the shell itelf, put the rounds around my stock HD foot pegs and secured them with epoxy.

Seeing this makes me wonder whether I could do something similar with the CIWS dummy rounds I brought home from the Navy.

It's really not that tough. PM me if you think you're foot pegs will fit. All it takes is some sand paper, elbow grease and mother's aluminum polish.

You may be able to cut off the end of the rubber stock foot peg for it to fit. From there it's just epoxy to secure it.
