My speedo is accurate, and Conservation cops...

Too bad you don't live here in Maryland. . .
I can't say how true it is, but I'm pretty sure that cops in cars here were told to ignore motorcycles because of the mass number of accidents and deaths that have happened from cops trying to play Super Trooper. Look up "Maryland Speeding motorcycles" and you'll see plenty of articles about cops dying pursuing bikes or innocent bystanders getting slaughtered.
Basically, unless the fuzz is going with the flow of traffic and a motorcycle blows by in the same direction, they aren't to give chase, and only then the road has to be clear enough for the cop to safely maneuver.
I can only assume it's true or at least partially enforced as I haul 80 down 295 here and blow by cops going the other way or are clocking in the median. Haven't been pursued yet.

Did you ask the Possum Cop to see his radar gun? Almost none of them actually have radar and NONE of them have the state police speedo package so they can't pace you either.. They are definitely getting out of hand in broke-dick IL..

In New York and I would imagine its similar elsewhere, you do not have the right to view the radar gun readout on the side of the road due to safety and other reasons. Most radar units are mounted to the dashboard unless a laser is being used in a stationary vehicle. If you go to court about the best you can do is ask if/when the radar unit was last certified. Being ticketed for 28 over doesnt really seem unreasonable from a legal standpoint if it was done on the up and up by the cop. Might be bad luck that it was by the conservation cops that stopped ya.

That'll teach ya. Not too many outlaws for them to catch in the fields or on the water, we were all at the blind drawings. Not much for them to do except wait until the drawings are over and hope to write a couple DUIs.

You are lucky and do not know it. Now in Illinois 30 over is minimum $1,500 and a possible 12 month jail sentence.

you can ask but they dont have to show you the radar, and most of them have moving radar now too, some even have lidar (laser) , and you can use moving radar to pace , and arer you sure they arn't certified speedometers, ( it isn't a state police speedo either , just certified accuarate). sometime when u play ya get caught and pay , happens to all of us now and again.
