How fast could you go before and how fast can you go now?

110 mph plus and still had a little throttle left with stock mufflers. With the SE slip-ons will barely get 100mph.

Decide what you want.

More noise?

10 hp back?

Yup reason I went back to stock mufflers on my '09 FLHX. Less sound, more power, better ride IMO.

Not very often, I live in an area that allows excessive speeds to blow the dust out of the bike. Long straight roads with little traffic, not legal but allowable.

If you like the sound but want more power get a high flow intake and some kind of fuel management.

If you really think that changing the mufflers has anything to do with your top speed, I have some beach property in AZ I would like to sell.
