Default Throttle Lock - New product?

Anyone ever heard of or try out this throttle lock?

http://www.2wheelride.com/

I haven't had much success with the other inexpensive friction locks out there, but this one looks kind of interesting.

Looks like a hunk of junk to me. http://www.cruise-mate.com/Products.htm or http://www.mcgcustom.com/ are the way to go.

I had one of those devices till the thing fell off on interstate 10. Let me know if anyone finds it.

I'm using a Cruise-Mate. Simple thumb operated on/off.
Requires drilling and tapping the throttle housing base though.

If you don't want to go through all that, these look like they would get the job done also.

I just put this on.

It is so simple, some people will trash it; but it works.
By far, this throttle lock is the most luxury for the dollar I've ever bought.

If it works that's all that matters. I have the simple throttlelock on my 06 & it works great. Got another for the 09 Heritage & could not get it to hold the throttle so I bought a cruisebuddy & it works fine.

I used the throttlelock on my '07 Fatboy until I installed full cruise; do a search on my name and you'll find the thread.
Really enjoyed the cruise on the '07 Fatboy and traded in a week later for an '11 Street Glide with cruise already installed. Love CRUISE!!

I put one of these on my bike and took it in for a fallaway adjustment. Got the bike back and the tech had broken it. Dealer gave me a $30 check to replace it. I've only used it for short streches on back roads and seems to work. I'm not sure if the friction is enough to maintain speed for an extended amount of time. I'll be testing out on my upcoming 5,000 mile Sturgis ride.
