Sounds good. Have a great trip and let me know how it works out.

BTW, I read about it in Motorcycle Consumer News, and they gave it a good write up. The mag is supported only by subscriptions, no advertising, so at least in theory they are unbiased.

I've only used it for short streches on back roads and seems to work. I'm not sure if the friction is enough to maintain speed for an extended amount of time. I'll be testing out on my upcoming 5,000 mile Sturgis ride.

LOL! Love the picture - He's in full leathers, she's in an off-the-shoulder showoff shirt.

But they're both in FF helmets and boots. Personally, if my passenger is going to fall off the baack, I'd rather she didn't drag me off with her.

For what it's worth, I love the cruise mate. Wanst too expensive, looks good and works perfectly. I would have hated both of my iron butt rides without it. I cruised with my right arm dangling/resting for many miles on both of them. Cruise is still better but much more $.

I use this one as well. I replaced the nut with a thumb screw to get more adjustment out of it while riding.

For future searches, I just picked up http://www.site.throttlelockshop.com/Home.php The throttle lock, no drilling or need to tap.
