Default stripped torx screw on clutch inspection cover

Any tricks on getting a stripped torx screw out on the clutch inspection cover ?

Been there! Drill it and use an EZ Out extractor. It works best if you use cobalt drill bits. Good luck!

Drill the head off, remove the derby cover, and twist the screw out with a pair of pliers.

I had one on my derby cover. This is how I got it out.

Once removed use allen head bolts.

I hammered the next size torx socket in mine and got it out.

I went back with a T-27 on a Impact hammer drill and it was able to back it out. Also EZ Outs are a way to go as well

if you could grind it and use a pair of pliers as stated above thats what i would do...BUT if you decide to drill it and ez out it it is best to use a punch and make a indention in the CENTER of the bolt before you put a drill to it.

Just drill the head off and the rest is easy, take the cover off and the screw will come out with your hand!! as said before

get rid of the head take the cover off it will come right out with vise grips
