I've been wearing a full face helmet for years, but the heat this summer was so bad I' decided to try a half helmet. I found this GMAX GM55 at a local Honda dealer, tried it on, liked it and proceeded to order it online for a nice discount. It's very comfortable, has a removable/washable liner, retractable sunscreen and is DOT approved.

Not bad. I think it will also depend on where you get it from. Like at Leatherup.com, where I got that helmet, I was at the lower end (23.25") of the "large" (23.23 - 23.85)(I think) sizing. Yet the helmet is very snug. If I were to do it over again, I'd probably go with the XL.
On another website, it may be spot on.

I'm startin to dig 3/4 helmets lately (especially that Iron Maiden one). I dunno though. I like wearing no helmet, but I feel it's irresponsible of me, having kids, to ride without one. I've got my half helmet, but between the mushroom look, less protection and the fact that the wind likes to get up in there like a kite, I'm not liking it so much. It's a Fulmer (AF-81?)... really a good lookin helmet, but on the head it just looks MASSIVE.
