What Does the Extended Warranty Cover What does is not covered. Where can one find information about the warranty? It is like almost impossible to find information on the Warranty... They tell you how geat it is but they dont tell you what it does or does not cover exactly? Does it cover electrical problems... bad switches... etc.?

I was in the Stealership just the other day looking for some written info... Soon as I find anything out I will let you folks know...

 

There is a 1-800 number on the ESP paperwork for the underwriters...I had to call them to get the info and brochure...my dealer had none.

 

Covers the same things as the original warranty.......whatever the MoCo wants to cover...or NOT!

 

Finance guy usually has them, just waiting to plug you into one!

I think the ESP is what they call an exclusionary policy. In other words, they list the items that are not covered. Tires are excluded from the ESP but are picked up by another plan.

 

BigAlsRK do you have that number handy? I am the second owner of this bike so it came with the warranty. But I have no paper work on it. It also came with the Tire warranty... After I bought it I had it checked out by a bike shop down the street... They said it was all good but it had a nail in the tire... I took it to the dealership an they said I brought it in just in time because the tread depth barley passed for getting a new tire... Which I got no charge. HD did do quite a bit of warranty associated with the Compensator problem on the 07 motors... Compensator assembly, Clutch assembly, starter, startor.

 

Extended warranty on mine was $2100 for 5 years. Covers from end to end. $50 deductible per instance. Tires are covered with no deductible as long as there is 3/32 of tread left on tire.
