When I was 20 I looked at a Super Glide on the floor of our local dealer... that was in 1969.

Asked him about Fuel Mileage..

His answer was If Ur worried bout Mileage,,,, then U don't need a Harley.

Late 60's, I'm surprised he didn't tell you it only needed fuel every 5,000 miles, but it needed the oil filled weekly!

OK, I'm confused. I thought the first Superglide was introduced in 1971.
