There doesn't seem to be a huge difference in the top profile of the Fulmer, Licks or Bell. The Licks does seem to be thinner on the sides and it also weighs significantly less than the others. I have two Bell 500s and they are very comfortable. I ordered a Licks NovDot to try one out, but don't have it yet to make a comparison.

I use a HD Ultra Jet on the Heritage. its "compact" and its SNELL approved. Got it new for 149.00 this summer
