Chain and Cable Lube from the local Honda shop. One can lasts forever. Works good on the clutch cable in my car, too.

Another question is, HOW do you lube your cables?

Is there a way to do this without unmounting them?

I use Rem Oil.

For the throttles, I just take off the throttle side control housing and spray it the cable. Let it soak and do it again.

For the clutch, I take the cable out of the housing, cut the corner out of a ziplock baggie, stick the cable in the hole, put a rubber band around it and spray the lube in the bag. Then, hang the bag up to let the lube run down.
