Default V-Rod and the direction it should have gone

Alright folks, I have been excited about the V-Rod and it's potential since day one. However the HD factory has let me down year after year introducing their idea of a power cruiser. Once they pull their heads out of their butts and take a hint from some of these photoshopped v-rod concepts, they might actually start selling more revolution engine powered harleys. I won't buy one until they make a real touring bike out of the revolution engine.

Enjoy the link below folks!

I know there are ways to baggerize your V-Rod, it's just that frame is so damn low. I've ridden enough of them to realize how nice it would be to have a touring alternative actually designed with an upright ergonomic riding position. Hell, even more ground clearance goes quite a ways on long haul comfort due to suspension actually doing it's job besides looking like a drag bike.

What an imagination. An Electra-Glide, or a Road Glide with a revolution engine. I'd like to think they would come up with something unique.

They did, it's called the V-Rod/Street Rod/Night Rod/Muscle etcetera and it's not doing so well. These "traditional" harley styles do sell well.

not sure how well the revolution would do in a bagger , but V rods sell extremely well in my area, I see them all the time , and the kids run around in packs on them

Just to let you know, the Street Rod was produced for two years, had 6.7 inches of ground clearance and lean angles of 40/40, a teeny bit better than the XR1200X.
