2012's ARE OUT! SEVERAL MODELS DISCONTINUED.
#51
I just checked the website and all the 2012 models are now listed. It seems they just pruned the models, except for the Dyna Switchback, which looks pretty good to me.
I would imagine it is possible to get leftover 2011s of certain models, such as the Crossbones (which I ride). Remember it's just a regular softail with a regular springer front end, but with dark paint, mini-apes, and a funky spring seat. The springer is a very simple mechanism, and very reliable. It requires frequent adjustment, but doesn't generally require any parts for the adjustment.
Elimination of the rocker is sad news, in my opinion. I love the looks of that bike. That seems like a likely model to hold resale value. The style pendulum seems to be swinging toward narrower rear wheels, so that will probably be the widest rear we'll see on a stock HD for a while.
