My V&H pipes suck!!!!

RE: My V&H pipes suck!!!!
Sorry to hear that, you might have just gotten unlucky with your set.
One thing to keep in mind about Python's, I heard they are actually made by V&H ultimately (no confirmation on that, but it was discussed on another forum a few times). Just something to think about.
The only manufacturer that I have owned pipes from that will warranty because of chrome discoloring is Hard Krome. I had the Xcelerator pipes on my Lowrider, and they had a 2 year warranty on the chrome not discoloring. There might be another manufacturer out there that does that, but I don't think there is.

RE: My V&H pipes suck!!!!
I went on V&Hs website to confirm if I could find in writing where they said they cover their chrome and what not becuase Ive dealt with other companies before where their customer service reps had no idea their policies and was able to quote their policies to them resulting in help. Needless to say what I found out was some of their pipes do cover the chrome and others they dont and it is on the more expensive pipes with the full heat shields and such. So if this happens to you check their website see if your pipes are covered, mine arent.

Thanks for the info ZJAvy. Do yours happen to be the ones covered with a chrome warranty?
I actually have Thunderheaders on my Glide anyways, but that's good info for the future. I just always heard that very few places warranty chrome (with good reason, as a bad tune will jack them up regardless!)
