I'm not familiar with Icon helmets, I'm assuming they're manufactured in China? The $260 price is quite reasonable. I have an Arai Corsair V full face, a Shoe Multitec flip-up, and an Arai 3/4. These three helmets fit me the best of all the ones I tried. All are white which is the most visible after hi-viz yellow, and cool. I've always felt that for the same money I'd prefer a better helmet with a plain paint color over a lesser quality helmet with fancy graphics.

I believe they are, probably the same country that makes my novelty half.

But Icon seems nice and good ventilation. I won't be wearing it all the time.

Shoei Qwest. Supposed to have superior venting for an upright riding posture.

Currently a Shoei RF1000. I still have a brand new in box KBC Magnum full face in gloss black (XLG) for sale in the forums CHEAP! DOT/Snell rated! $75/shipped-List was $220. I'm just used to my old Shoei.

Yeah Scorpion makes some great helmets. The 1000 is awesome, I use the 700 for now. Very comfortable and protective. The amount of technology they put in their gear is impressive which is why the price is money well spent. I won't ride without my helmet.

Shoei Quest, comfortable, quiet and the faceshield/opening is bigger. It's my new favorite.

As to a FF helmet, have a HJC modular. Really like the modular types as I wear glasses and pretty nice to flip them up when stopped to keep a good supply of fresh air around.

Just bought a HJC CL15. They are discontinued, but I think they are better made than their replacement HJC CL16. Very quiet and Snell rated. I paid 113, you can get cheaper online cause discontinued. I always wore XL but L is quieter and chafes less. Go by fit chart.
