I put the burly cable kit on my bike. they are pretty good for the price, the clutch cable is a little stiffer than the stocker but not by much.

Should I get apes?

Hmmm... apes? Knew a guy who had a chimpanzee once. It freaked out one day and bit off his wife's nose. That's when I said I'd never have a monkey.
Apes seem like a much bigger problem...

i have a Fatboy with chubby 16"ers. only had 1 issue, but it happened a few times. Due to the height they get some serious leverage. If i hit a big bump or pulled back too hard, the bars would loosen up, i'd have to pull over, whip out the allen wrench and tighten em up. That got old fast, and scary. Ended up puttin some red loctite on em, *knock on wood* worked like a charm.

Have never even sat on a bike with them but it seems like there would be a loss of leverage. Maybe not in the lower ones, but Ive seen some that really look, (well I wont say) but I wonder how a person could steer with them, especially in a hurry. Just dont look like they would work well in the rodeo. But I've never tried them.

ok maybe leverage in leaning, but not in turning, I have 0 problem in leaning my bike now, but then I dont have a big bike either 1200C
