Default TORX Plus Bit Sockets

Has anyone used the TORX Plus Bit Sockets as opposed to the regular bit sockets. The blurb on
the "Plus" sockets say, "TORX® Plus pattern increases fastener contact to allow 25% more
torque on the fastener". Sounds good but I want to make sure they fit the fasteners on my bike.

Thanks.

Do the TORX Plus Bits fit regular TORX fasteners, or do they only work on TORX Plus fasteners? It sounds interesting.

Here's some info... http://www.textronfasteningsystems.c...ve_compare.htm

Looks interesting. But I'm sure I'd confuse them with regular Torx and strip them out too. Need to make them blaze orange or something so I don't confuse them.

Another interesting note - I never knew, albeit sounds logical, that philips and related fall into the cruciform fastener category.

Cool link bensonjv. After reading this, I think I'll stick with the regular Torx.

i thought i read on here (somewhere...) that HD uses Torx Plus on late model bikes? That's why we're strippin' them, with the regular torx
