Damn....it was in the high 90's, high humidity...and I've never felt so miserable in my life. I was really glad the bike was back in Colorado and we were in a car.

Wet rag around the neck when it gets above 100 degrees. Lots of ice tea and water stops. Loose clothes and as a last resort parking the bike from noon till about four in the afternoon.

I'm in Georgia. I try to travel early or late in the day, but sometimes theres no avoiding mid day. A sheepskin seat cover helps keep your *** dry when wearing jeans, and sometimes I wear shorts and running shoes. If you live where I do and WAGATT you're more likely to die of heat exhaustion than road rash.

I live on the Illinois side, near St. Louis, and it hit 98 or 99 with a heat index of 115. I rode in to work. I work on a base and you gotta wear long sleeves, a helmet, gloves, and boots. I was in the desert last year, deployed for three months. Even with all that stuff it isnt near as hot as it is out there. It was like 135 140 with the heat index.

We don't have a lot of humidity here in Colorado so even if its 105 it just doesn't feel like you're going to die any time soon. Honest, that Missouri heat really took it out of me.

Drove the truck today. The ac in the office was broke, so sitting at a desk in 90f temps all day, Sucked. But I have worked outside construction in this weather, so sitting at a desk ain't that bad.

I remember i went to west virginia once years back in the summer time.At night i almost froze to death. Its weird going from east texas to west texas too.Its waaay cooler out west at night especially.
As much noise as people from the warm climates give the northern guys in the winter make no mistake about we pay for it in the summer.
