Helmet laws really do work
GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - An alleged motorcycle thief in Harrison County might not have been stopped by police, had he remembered to wear a helmet. Chad McGill, 20, of Gulfport was arrested Thursday morning and charged with Grand Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, which is a felony.
About an hour after the bike was reported stolen, Harrison County deputies stopped McGill for riding without a helmet. During the stop, the deputies realized the bike was the stolen one they were looking for.
The investigation is still underway, and authorities expect to make other arrests. Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said Chad McGill is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.

Here I am.....I'd rather loose my bike to a thief than be forced to wear a helmet.

3 years old and a kid in a candy store at the local H-D dealership, loves motorcycles especially mine. Can't wait till he's older so I can take him on a ride.
