what part of balt did you grow up in ? I grew up in catonsville on the west side.
nothing says baltimore like crabs and old bay.
its been a few years since i've been over the bay bridge. i remember driving over the bridge and hitting the grates with bias ply tires on my car.. glad the main grating is gone.

Good news!
I just went across the Bay Bridge about two hours ago, west bound span, and NO GRATES WHATSOEVER!
I'd still stay off em when you run across them in your travels but I wouldn't let grates on a bridge kill a nice trip.
