Default Motorcycle superstore preferred tire installer

Hey all. Well I'm having some problems finding a tire installer in my area other than the HD dealership. Really don't want to go there and don't want to buy dunlops.

So I was browsing motorcycle-superstore and saw they had preferred installer locations. You can order the tire right to the location? It's going to be a 30mile ride for me to get to one of them.

Just curious how this works does the installer call you when they receive the tire or what? Has anyone done this before?

I always have my tires installed at the Honda shop...they don't care if I bring my own tires and usually install them while I wait...and it doesn't take long...I discovered their quality work after leaving a tire at HD all day and they never touched it.

Why not call the place and ask them? I did that for my truck and they were able to beat the online price.

I talked to the guy at one of the preferred installers. He said that if I order the tire online to call him, or he could order it in for me just got to let him know what I want.

Just call around to local independent shops and ask for prices. You'll find a good one no problem. I always buy tires online and pull the wheels off myself and just have them mounted and balanced by an indy shop.

I found a local shop here too, but was surprised that the local Honda store wouldn't mount my tires because I didn't buy the bike there.....(?)

Fortunately that's the only time that excuse has ever been given to me.
