even though he's in jail now, it looks like they are already looking for an out. it isn't his fault, after all he's a pillar of the community. i see this becoming a slap on the wrist.

i hope i'm wrong.

I think you are mistaken skratch, writing may be a bit confusing but the name of the"pharmacist-good guy" is one of the bikers that was killed.

Id say 'ol jose is gonna pay, atleast i hope so, article says the girlfriend and kid were asleep in the back seat, since they dont think drugs or booze were involved i wonder if jose was sleeping while driving???

wether it was malice, or negligence, its a terrible tragedy, i feel terrible for all the families involved

So why is he in jail again? No drugs, alcohol, or cell phone involved? Accidents will happen and as a rider there is a higher risk of being killed on the roadway and I accept that. I hope my wife never has an accident, being foreign and new to the road.

Unless something suddenly broke in his steering, losing control of a car isn't "an accident" - that's why m,ost states have stopped calling the police reports "accident reports." At best, it's negligence or recklessness. If I'm sober and not talking on a cell phone and I shoot somebody because I'm not be careful where I aim my gun, I'm probably going to jail for a reckless homicide/assault.

Sounds to me like the Prosecutors, and a whole lot of other people, are jumping the gun charging him before the facts are in. He wasn't drinking or doing drugs, and it's pretty obvious it wasn't road rage since they were going in opposite directions. Their going to feel pretty stupid if they find out a tie rod snapped on his vehicle, a tire went down, or some other malfunction, that caused it to swerve. Or is that the standard we really want to our family members to drive under....if you're in a traffic accident and someone gets jurt or killed you are automatically charged criminally...just because he was in a car and they were on bikes does not make him a "bad guy". Who knows, maybe HE's a biker.....chit happens, people die on bikes and cars everyday. It's not always criminal.
