Default Cams out! Any ideas of extra stuff to do in there while there out.

I've removed my cams, pulled the inner bearings, checked my crank runout(0.04 thank God), diss assembled my oil pump pollished it and lubed, cleaned all oil passeges, polished up my bushings for the cams and crank, polished the crank shaft where it rides in the bushing, and general clean up. Now waiting on both of my new hyd tensioners to get here. Just seing if i'm missing something thanks.

If you are putting in the new style kit you have to use one of your old chains. I would polish the outter edges of the chain. Some of the chains I have seen have a sharp edge , and I think that is some of the reason the shoes get torn up.

New lifters are recommended at your mileage. I use the stock lifters with my setup. I replaced the lifters at 40K and they looked great at 60K. Drew
