So mentioned to the wife that we should go put some miles on the bikes today..So lets try and get out early before it get,s Africa Hot,and the party,s start meaning the people on the road start drinking and driving..She agreed and said she would like to go..Well here we are 3 hours later and uh well still waiting..Cant for the life of me after 14 years of marriage figure it out and dont even try anymore..

I HAD one I waited on for 14 years! The one I have now is pretty good about being on time! Maybe you should have posted this in the Queens of the road section!

I took an early ride today for the same reason, but didn't have to wait for anyone except myself. Hey, you're still fortunate to have a wife to ride with, count your blessings, not the waiting time. You are right- you will never figure it out so don't burn up any brain cells trying.

 

Well we did get out and ride today..24 hrs. late..But..Quality time with the Wife..Priceless... it was a very pleasant day..

 

My wife is the same way. Yesterday she wanted to go to a car/bike show. I got my chores done before 9:00 AM. She went to see her mother. So I did a little more yard work, and took a nap. About 1:30 she came in and said lets go. I pulled my bike out and was ready to go. She pulled hers out and said she wanted to clean it up a bit. By the time we made it to the show, the last few cars were pulling out.
Today similar story. We still managed to get a few hundred miles on the bikes and had a couple nice rides.

 

I left the house at 0900 this morning. Beautiful, sunshine, cool and hardly any traffic and I didn't have to wait for anyone. When I got geared up I just fired up the bike and left. But..... sometimes I still wish I was waiting for the woman who decided there were greener pastures near 30 years ago now. Most of the time alone is great but sometimes it just plain sucks too. Sometimes waiting is a small price to pay for a greater return.
