Leather Vests?
#21
Considering they make vented and perforated leather motorcycle jackets that have adjustable and high capacity air flow/cooling in the arms and chest - why bother with a vest? Personally I like the idea of protecting my shoulders and arms on a bike too.

A snug fitting vest is the best for keeping in your core body heat. Leather rides best in the wind. Chap stick, ear plugs and Copenhagen are always handy.....Oh, and mine says Harley-Davidson on the back too...which I think is cool.

No patches or pins. Mostly wear it for the pockets. Found out my smokes blow out of my T-Shirt pocket at about 80 mph. With the vest, I get to keep my smokes. Denim would be fine if I could find a black one I like (or a black denim jacket to cut the sleeves off)

While the vest does not protect arms/shoulders, if it's to hot to wear a leather jacket, i wear a vest with a long sleeve shirt. I've been down with and without leather, in some weird places, I laid it down on Guam one time, lucky I was wearing jacket, scrapes on the road there involve wire brush clean out of the abrasion to eliminate growth of strange critters under your skin. Vest is good to carry stuff, passport, larger protection items you don't want seen ect.
Tend to agree with Artlee by the way, more big chested women with nothing underneath the vest would be a really good public safety message to encourage wear!
