Wind

First, that must have been some damn wind! Second, your bike is fine besides the cosmetic damage. A couple of years back I entered a reduced radius left hand curve that the county had decided to tar and chip only they forgot the tar, the roller, and any signs. Saved it the first time the **** end tried to wash out but the second time in the 3" of pea gravel not so much. Back end washed out at between 35 and 40, slid on it's left side for several yards on both the gravel and off onto the grass. The frame was fine! Fix the cosmetic, clean off the oil and take it for a ride.

I agree the frame should be fine. We have had soem storng winds here this year, but I have not had the bikes out in it. I'm sure the wind could blow the bike over, but that would have to be one hell of a strong gust.
