+10 on that. After using them in the Marines, I bought one to use on my bike. Slept in the snow comfortably. If you arent going to be riding in the winter you can just use the bivy and green bag and be great. If its super hot just use the bivy. WATERPROOF. Most of the gear we carried was **** but this bag rocks. Matches my new bike too
Also agree on these bags. Lived in one for 7 months all over Bosnia. Went through most of their winter spring and a hair of summer in it. On a previous deployment there we used the older WWII style down sleeping bags. I spent Christmas '95 sleeping in one of the older bags in Croatia w/ no heat source, coldest I have ever been, but survived easily. Those down bags would be way too hot in warmer temps. The modulate are great due to the variety of temps they are good for.
