Second date with the wife.

Second date with the wife.
Wife and I are still young. We are thirty-six and thirty-one. We had our second date on the Harley tonight since she got the detachable sissy bar and passenger pegs.
We rode out about twelve miles to a movie theater. We have had passes to go for over a year now. With two kids it is hard to get out when you don't have family around to watch them.
She had a good time. I can tell she was a lot less tense on the bike than the first time she rode. I got it up to eighty mph at one point, but cruised around sixty-five mostly.
I was really impressed with the stock cams and 96" motor. It pulled good. I kept it in 5th most of the time though. Seems I would have to be really moving on, and on a super flat highway to go 65 mph in 6th with two up. Sixty-five in 6th gear by myself isn't an issue if the wind isn't to bad.
Anyway. Just wanted to say that the Street Bob is more than just transportation for me now that the old lady is riding at times. Gives me that early 20s (i am cool) feeling again when she is on the back. I am glad she decided to share a few things that really make me happy.

I feel you Brain. I just completed a tour to Ohio with my new wife...who is the best co-pilot/passenger I've EVER had on my bikes. She was such a trooper riding through tons of rain with days as high as 550 miles and totaling 2600 miles in a week.
My previous ex's liked to ride with, but were never as happy or comfortable as my wife is...AND I LOVE HAVING HER THERE.
